What is your best JLN memory?

My best JLN memory was one of the JLN socials. Classes can get super tedious around the middle of the semester, so being able to socialize with my fellow JLN members was a good stress reliever. We had a super cool DJ, tasty snacks, and team games.

How has the program changed your college experience?

There were some things that I was not aware of prior to my JLN experience, such as how an actuarial major, such as myself, can gain valuable experience from a student research project. Not only did I learn how to design a website but also how to deal with different people and meet their requirements.

Thanks to JLN, I was able to make connections with people in different majors, but with the same success goals as me.

How has the program helped you build relationships and connections?

The actuary major is not a popular major, hence finding people with similar life goals as me was not easy. But thanks to JLN, I was able to make connections with people in different majors, but with the same success goals as me. It was really helpful to learn that I was not the only one.
