The Jaguar Leadership Network (JLN) is a two year scholarship program that provides selected first-year students with opportunities for networking, leadership development, and experiential learning opportunities.
Scholars develop their leadership skills in their sophomore year through a one-credit hour course, expand their social network through program events, and receive help in obtaining an engaged learning experience during their junior year with the goal of positioning JLN Scholars to compete for paid internships, work, or research experiences during their senior year.
The holistic support, experiential learning opportunities, and community engagement experiences are designed to develop students as leaders and help them acquire professional skills that are important for career success.
As you click on each JLN Scholar’s ePortfolio, you’ll see a showcase dedicated to their engaged learning experience where they reflect on their leadership skills and how the experience helped them build connections for the future.
