Philanthropic studies majors must complete the Capstone in Philanthropic Studies course as a culminating learning experience prior to graduation that integrates their personal and professional development. In this course, students examine big questions in the field of philanthropy; reflect upon the knowledge, skills, and values they have acquired and developed throughout their undergraduate experience; and coherently express their identity as emerging professionals in the world of philanthropy.
For their capstone projects, students composed electronic portfolios (ePortfolios) to integrate what they have learned, both inside and outside of class, about philanthropic studies as a field of knowledge and about themselves as engaged citizens and emerging professionals entering the workplace or graduate school.
