The Feasibility of Multiple Extruders in Additive Manufacturing

This semester, I have been researching (through the Diversity Scholars Research Program) with my mentor Dr. Dalir on creating a machine that can create or "print" multiple materials for research, layer by layer. The machine that we want to create will have the ability to use two to four different materials at the same time and create many combinations of material properties. This printer is currently being built, but once it is finished it can open a lot of research opportunities here at IUPUI and other universities.
