Tamara de Lempicka as the Modern Day Woman
Tamara de Lempicka was a female artist who was active in the 1920s-30s in France. She was an openly bisexual woman that explored her sexuality while living in France. Her sexuality is depicted in her works as she explores themes of female promiscuity. The works being highlighted are entitled Group of Four Nudes and Young Lady With Gloves. Both of these works showcases female sensuality and sexuality in different ways. One is a sexual encounter between four women and the other a single woman draped in a lavish tight dress. With these details she becomes the perfect example of the modern day woman.
