Business Development Internship Summary

As a student in the sophomore internship program I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to join the team at Ascend Indiana as a business development intern. As an intern at Ascend I am in charge of making sure that job roles are posted to the network depending on priority and making sure that the existing job roles have the correct information and are up to date. Over the course of the spring semester I have been able to learn a lot at Ascend and truly achieve some of my goals that I had set for myself in the beginning of the semester. I have been able to connect with other professionals and learn different processes while at Ascend. I was able to learn the different aspects of on boarding and truly get a feel for the professional world. This experience has given me the tools to conduct self reflection for growth, expand on my ability to write in a professional manner, and to hold myself accountable. From this experience I appreciate the tremendous support I have received at Ascend Indiana and know I will be able to apply the knowledge I have gained to my future endeavors.
