Accounts Payable and Receivable Internship Summary

I work with the CFO and the accounting department so that I can learn the ins and outs of the company from a financial perspective. I am able to see how the company operates, how it goes about receiving payments for the completed jobs, and how they pay the bills for the materials they use to complete those jobs. Not only do I have the opportunity to learn with the accounting department, but I have also had the chance to learn a new perspective of the company by working with the service department. By watching and working with the service department, I am able to see how Barth Electric is able to get customers and how they help those customers with any problems that might arise when doing business. I have had an amazing experience while working with Barth Electric and am happy that I did not just learn about accounting. I am appreciative that I had the privilege to learn the entire process of the company and how it functions from day to day, whether that be accounting, servicing jobs, or working with payroll.
