Business Development Internship Summary
During my internship, I learned how to post roles to the Ascend network and check for broken links. This is important because this plays a big role at Ascend Indiana because it helps connect job seekers with jobs. Connecting job seekers with internships and careers is part of Ascend Indiana's mission. I also learned how to build better connections within Ascend. This included attending weekly PR meetings with my supervisor to address any updates/concerns, shadowing meetings to gain knowledge of other roles in Ascend, and having lunch with co-workers to build better relationships. I am so glad I got to be a part of the team and am grateful for the learning experiences I gained.
